Grand Opening for Hope Chest a Huge Success

The Grand Opening for the newly established “Hope Chest” Thrift Store on August 13th was an awesome success, as people flooded the store to find a bargain. After shopping, they enjoyed a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, a cold drink, and kettle korn. You couldn’t have ordered a more perfect day.

The store operates under the umbrella of New Hope Counseling Center, with proceeds helping to fund the local charity. The Hope Chest opened unofficially on June 8th, to allow for gradual adjustment and donations received.

Co-Managers Holly Oden and Jo Ann Moorman, along with the staff of New Hope Counseling Center, want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success and they invite you to come and check out the Hope Chest frequently as new items are displayed. And remember: It’s much more than just a store! It’s a place to come and be encouraged; a place to be ministered to; a place that gives glory to God.
